    Hello again!
I think this problem is one of the worst problems in Spain.
People Study to much because in the future the want to have a job, earn money, have a life... to many people study in the university however the haven´t a job and maybe they are ingenrees. It´s so hard.
But, Why I think this is one of the worst problems?
Well, personally, I´m studing, and what then? I´m not sure if I´ll have an employment, for this it´s so difficult, we can´t be motivated. It´s posible that one of us will go out.
    Thank you for your atention.

  2. There are a few things which surprised me about the youth unemployment of these different countries.
We all know that the economic crisis affected Spain the most out of Germany, Finland, Poland and Spain. Despite this fact I didn´t know that things are slowly, or as many texts said:"little by little", getting better in Spain. But as Santos said I can understand that it might be very difficult to stay motivated.
I thought Poland was not so affected by the crisis, which is true, but however they still have a high youth unemployment rate. Also the discrimination against mothers on the workplace was very shocking to me. Is this a huge problem in Poland? And how often does it appear?
I also thought that Finland had a lower youth unemployment rate.
All in all I can say that I found all the texts interesting and very informative.
    Greetings, Louisa

    Hi partners!
Youth unemplyment in Spain is nowadays a big problem due to the serious crisis. There are many young people who have just finished his degree and they can´t start a good job with a minimum wage and reasonable work schedule. For this reason, we can find a lot of young working in restaurant like mcdonalds where the salary is low and they have to work many hours.
Everyday, look for a job is more and more difficult and there are more competition between students.
From Spain, Ana Rubio de la Osa

  4. Hello from Spain.
Talking about this topic, I am going to give my opinion or at least, what it is happening in Spain because it is very close to me.
From my point of view, this is one of the main problems that we have and this is why many youth people are moving to another countries.
It is quite hard to find a permanent job in Spain because it is very common to find partial employment contracts.
The owners of the companies take an advantage of it and they often offer you contracts which includes many hours per month with a really low salary, in order to avoid this situation many people decide to move on.

    Hello!
Unemployment in Spain is a really important problem in Spain today because many families are losing their houses.
Politicians should help these families instead of taking away their homes. Moreover they should stop stealing and return the stolen money. Corruption is one of the biggest problems in Spain and honest politicians should avoid it.
In conclusion, unemployment is the most worrying problem in Spain today and politicians should stop it and avoid corruption because this is the main cause of the economic crisis.

  6. Hi to everyone!
Youth unemployment is a topic which often causes a great deal of discussion everywhere specially nowadays.
Reading these articles and comments have made me stop to think about the seriousness of the situation not only in Spain but also all over the world. It is true that the number of youth unemployment is increasing , as consequence most of the students who have already graduated at college are leaving their own country. Due to this fact, Spain is loosing well prepared professional people , moreover it is causing that most of them live with their family because of their bad salary. I often think why we have to make such an effort to end up working in underpaid jobs with no opportunities to be independent whenever one gets the chance of getting one job.
Of course, you can leave your own country, your family, your friends trying to get more possibilities to improve your existence. But this is a personal decision.

  7. Hi!
I think youth unemployment is one of the biggest problems we face today.
Being employed is very important for young people in order to feel accepted in the society, thus not having a job can cause economic, cultural and social isolation.
I was shocked when I read the number of the youth unemployment in Spain, I knew that it is very high but I never thought that it is that much, about 46%, and nearly 7 times more than in Germany. And I also thought that Finland has a lower youth unemployment rate.

In germany we don't hear much about this issue anymore. Do you think it's really getting better or does the spanish government try to hide the problem?
Greetings from germany and missing all of you!!

Hi to everyone! At first, I would like to congratulate everyone who was involved with the presentations of the different countries because they are really useful and have lots of information.
One of the most worrying problems that affects society is unemployment,in particular youth unemployment. The rise of unemployment and the growth of precarious jobs an in-work poverty make that a lot of spanish young people leave their country to improve their situation and find a job in better conditions. I hope that with the improvement of the economy all these people will be able to return to Spain.

  10. Hello again !!!!

One of the big problems that came with the crisis is the unemployment, which is the most worrying problem in Spain. In Spain there are around 5.000.000 unemployed people.

This situation is because the industrial development of Spain was mostly based on house building and the beginning of the crisis coincided with the collapse of this sector. So, the people who worked in house building lost their jobs.

The way in which this problem affects Spanish economy is very serious because unemployed receive economic help from the government. This money is taken form the taxes paid by the people working. But now we have too many unemployed workers and fewer workers paying taxes. So the government has less money to invest in actions to activate the economy.

Many unemployed are trying to go for self-employment, they are entrepreneurs.
They set up small companies to produce benefits just to live.

  11. Hey,
I was very surprised about the numbers of the unemployed rate. I did not know that the differences are so big. I knew that Spain has a very high rate, but that it was almost 7 times higher than in Germany is shocking.
Also the 21% of Finland was surprising, how is it possible that their education and salaries are actually so high but the youth unemployment is so high?
I agree with the text that the reasons for the low youth unemployment rate in Germany is that we have to go to school until we are 18, and besides that we have very good chances like apprenticeships and possible ways to get a better education.
The differences between the numbers are shocking, and I think we should take them very serious because the youth is the future of the countries is.

  12. Hey guys!
I was shocked when I read how high the unemployment rate in Spain is.
Is it still a problem or gets it better? In Germany we hear nothing more about this topic.
Youth unemployment is not a big problem here in Germany, we have big companies here and I think if you want a job you get a job.
I hope your government in Spain will do something to combat this issue.
